This styled shoot put together by The Deep in the Heart retreat screams Autumn vibes; executed to absolute perfection! Dreamy gold, muted pinks and neutrals combine beautifully with the rusty terracotta shade of the groom’s suit to create a soft, elegant aesthetic with an edge.
Though already married, Natalie and Jose got ready in separate rooms at the Emerson venue and made sure not to catch a glimpse of one another until it was time for the first look – who says you can’t do more than one first look as husband and wife?! When the time came and Natalie and Jose first locked eyes, their reactions were priceless. You would never have guessed this wasn’t their actual wedding day! Their connection and obvious love for one another even brought tears to a few of the attendees eyes.
The ceremony photos took place at the Emerson’s iconic little white chapel, designed by the insanely creative mind of HGTV’s Leanne Ford! Rustic white pews, textured off-white walls and large arched windows made for some stunning, clean and bright photos, and really allowed José’s rust coloured suit to pop. Photographers need not worry about bad lighting in a church for once!
Bride and groom formals took place outside the chapel and around the grounds during golden hour; with Natalie’s stunning veil (made by Sara Gabriel) really stealing the show by elevating their portraits!
With formals out of the way, Natalie and Jose were able to let loose and take full advantage of one of the most epic rentals I’ve ever seen; a retro mobile bar on wheels called The Boozy Bar! After indulging in some signature cocktails, Natalie and José took things to the dance floor and danced to their real wedding song, stirring up all the nostalgic feels.
To end the night, this playful couple had a blast during the cake cutting and were not afraid to get messy, covering each other in frosting and licking it off one another! It was the perfect way to end a flawlessly executed wedding shoot.
