Nick & Alicia reached out to me to help them plan their trip out to the valley, where they wanted to elope somewhere with botanical and bohemian vibes. Helping couples decide on the best locations and ideas for their celebration is one of my favourite aspects of my job! From the beginning, they knew they wanted their elopement to be laid-back and private – just the two of them until it was time to meet up with friends and family at the reception later in the evening. They booked my smallest elopement package; 2 hours – perfect for those who have a straight-forward location and don’t need a lot of coverage. Having known Alicia through friends, I knew how much she loved dried florals, plants, unique accommodations and all things boho, so when I came across The Greenhouse in Somerset, Annapolis Valley, I knew it was exactly what they were looking for. 

Falling in love with the venue just as I expected, Nick & Alicia almost immediately booked Once the big day came, Nick and Alicia showed up seperately, hoping to be able to pull off a first look. Though a bit tricky, we managed to make it work! I got each of them on either side of the Greenhouse, and then had them slowly move backwards until they were back to back holding hands. Nick’s reaction was so sweet it had me in tears, and eventually we were all crying. We spent the rest of our time frolicking in flower fields around the venue & taking sunset photos. It was the most beautiful day!

I can’t recommend the Greenhouse venue enough – it is the perfect venue for those craving cozy, naturesque vibes and earth tones. Perfect for a private elopement or intimate micro-wedding. As a self proclaimed flower child / plant obsessed human, I honestly kinda want to get married here myself. 🙂
